Lesson From Lady Bugs
I recently purchased some Ladybugs to live with all the plants I have in my office. Shortly after I released them they were all over the place, crawling on my plants and fluttering about - Delightful! For a while, some of them spent time on my desk; some landed on me.... I soon realized I had to be careful not to squish any of them!
In a few short hours they had already consumed any aphids and spider mites my plants had to offer. All of them migrated to the window and it appeared that they were all trying to escape! But, I wanted to keep my new friends! After a little research on the web, I learned that Ladybugs always migrate toward the sun, and that I could make a whey and yeast potion that would keep them around, So, I made a special trip to the store to purchase the ingredients, mixed them in water and sprayed the solution on my plants. It worked!
Then it occurred to me; keeping Ladybugs is just like keeping a positive mental outlook! It takes some work. If you plant a few positive thoughts in your mind, you have to be careful not to squish them; regardless, over time they will still fade and dissipate! You have to continue to plant positive thoughts in your mind. It requires consistency and persistence. If you would like to improve your mental outlook, take at least 5 minutes a day to feed yourself positive thoughts. I do this in the car on my way to work. I express thanks for things I already have and things I am yet to receive.
Try it and see what happens. In future posts I will share more on "positive thought farming" and reaping the benefits!

Cute analogy. I have a garden for a hobby and was wondering if lady bugs would work for the aphids. Now I think I will try them.
Thanks for the positive thought info. I liked it.
