More please!
This past weekend - Friday, Saturday and Sunday night, lightning bugs came in my bedroom with me!
Each night at least one or two twinkled in my room as I drifted off to sleep. I learned that they make a little click sound when they light up. The sound is how I discovered one in my room the first night. I suspect she may have been flirting with my digital alarm clock, but I did not stay awake to find out!
As much as I like lightning bugs, this is the first time this has ever happened in my 51 years on this earth. And it happened each night for 3 nights! Anyone that knows me well will tell you that 3 is my favorite number and a very significant number in my life. I am certain that there is a reason the visits occurred for 3 nights, but I am not sure what it is.
As for the phenomena of the visits aside from the number of occurrences, I can only attribute it to the fact that I have never published my appreciation for lightening bugs until just recently. It was only after I publicly expressed my appreciation for the lightening bugs that they appeared in my room.
So, I'm thinking the more you express appreciation for something, the more of the appreciated item you receive! I'm going to test out this theory in the future!
